Bottom Fishing & Trolling
This is a full day tour, fishing within the creeks or tributaries (side streams) and mouth of the river. Tackles and bait will be provided. Catches can include Barracuda, Catfish, and Cassava Fish etc.. Whatever you catch you can grill it on BBQ and eat once back on the main land.
Speedboat to Bijol Island
Bijol Island is situated some 10 nautical miles from Tanji fishing village. We depart from the Senegambia beach and proceed to Brufut where we shall do our shopping and sort out the formalities with the wildlife authorities before we proceed to Bijol Island. Here you get a chance to observe the pelicans and other birds, swimming and finishing. Lunch will be a BBQ on the island.
Beach BBQ Night
This is an evening event with a BBQ dinner at the beach along the Atlantic Coast. We will drive through the Gambian countryside towards Baobab beach. The BBQ will consist of fish, mutton, chicken and various vegetables. After dinner there will be a cultural entertainment, depicting the various tribes in The Gambia. Once you've had a tasty and relaxing evening at the beach you will be taken back to your respective hotels.
